Clinician Policies and Procedures Training

This training program prepares Innovation Counseling Services clinicians to deliver safe, ethical, culturally responsive care in line with organizational policies and applicable legal, licensing, payer, and professional requirements. It covers credentialing, clinical service standards, EHR documentation, supervision, crisis response, privacy and technology security, scheduling, billing, professional boundaries, quality assurance, and separation procedures. Clinicians will learn how to use the EHR as the authoritative record, recognize situations requiring immediate escalation, and apply consistent procedures that protect clients, colleagues, and the organization across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
